    Assistant General Manager/Business Development Coordinator at Kidokinetics

    This exciting role is ideal for a highly-driven self-starter seeking an opportunity rather than just a \"job\". Kidokinetics is actively seeking a positive, dynamic individual with expertise in business management, team building, and sales.

    Candidates must have:

    • Proven sales skills
    • Experience in field-based business development
    • Ability to hire, train, and manage employees effectively
    • Strong leadership and coaching qualities

    Kidokinetics is a mobile sports program introducing children aged 6 months to 10 years to a variety of sports in a fun, non-competitive environment with a mission to instill lasting self-confidence and a love for fitness.

    Summary:

    Your main responsibilities will include prospecting and enrolling schools, daycares, and other key targets in Kidokinetics programs while leading a team. You will ensure high customer satisfaction, strong renewals, and growth opportunities.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Oversee day-to-day operations
    • Prospect new locations and follow up consistently
    • Engage with relevant organizations and parents
    • Evaluate sites and plan programs
    • Manage schedules and events effectively
    • Train, supervise, and develop staff
    • Deliver sports activities following the curriculum
    • Ensure high program quality standards
    • Handle enrollment processes and customer inquiries
    • Uphold health and safety regulations
    • Promote workplace values and culture

    Desired Skills:

    • Business development experience
    • Strong sales focus
    • Excellent communication and analytical skills
    • Highly motivated with conflict resolution abilities
    • Optimistic, organized, and detail-oriented
    • Results-driven and adaptable to changing environments
    • Experience with CRM and social media marketing (a plus)

    The Ideal Candidate:

    We are looking for someone experienced in team building, sales, and business growth. A competitive spirit, strong work ethic, and the ability to take ownership of the sales cycle are crucial. Previous experience with children, willingness to learn, and a passion for our mission are highly valued.

    Physical Demands:

    • Programs indoors and outdoors
    • Requires physical activity and ability to lift weight

    Experience/Education:

    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Teaching or coaching experience with children required
    • Sports background preferable
    • Management experience not mandatory

    Additional Requirements:

    • Valid driver's license
    • Pass background check
    • Ability to travel
    • Reliable transportation

    Compensation/Benefits:

    • Starting pay $25 per hour plus commission
    • Unlimited PTO, Parental leave, Health insurance

    Work Environment:

    • Combination of home office and travel
