Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

25 hours/week during academic year

35 hours/week during the summer

Job Description

Student Accounting Co-op

Primary Responsibilities

Performs various accounting duties such as data entry into the University's SAP Accounting System.
Tags and reconciles all university equipment. Updates all inventory changes made by the departments.
Reconciles and updates the yearly inventory verifications in the accounting system. Prepares and enters journal entries into the accounting system.
Special projects requiring accounting/analytical skills.
Performs bank and general ledger account reconciliations.
Reviews all pro-card charges.

Qualifications

Must be an Accounting Major.
Needs to be able to handle detail and take direction.
Students must have the ability to use computers and be efficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe.
Have good analytical and communication skills.
Be able to physically tag equipment located throughout the University.

Any candidate who is offered this position will be required to go through a pre-employment criminal background check as mandated by state law.

Minimum Education 1-2 Years of College Pay Rate $12/hour
