    non-exempt$36-41/hr commensurate with experience + med/dental/vision, 3 weeks PTO, 401K match and much moreNetwork Administrator IIThis position will work onsite with our client in the Healthcare space.

    The Network Administrator II is responsible for providing stable network connectivity and highest uptime (24x7x365). This includes planning, installing, configuring, maintaining/supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software, and links.
    On any given day, the Network Administrator's duties may overlap with those of a Network Engineer or System Administrator/Engineer.
    This position works closely with IT Infrastructure, IT Coordinator, IT Leadership, and Senior Leadership Team.


    Position Responsibilities include:


    Develops architectural design, configurations, monitoring, failover scenarios, test cases, and documentation according to industry standards and best practices for high availability and fault tolerance.

    Maintains physical and logical diagrams of network topology, trains teammates on architecture and access controls. Designs network-based security and implements solutions. Provides value-driven ideas to improve network and system architecture or functionality. Incorporates new ideas into the overall design by focusing on security, usability, and reliability while minimizing cost. Works with System Administrators/Engineers to build and implement a solution with minimal direction.

    Works with System Administrators/Engineers and IT Leadership to implement, maintain, support, and documentation Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Strong background in data center infrastructure and networks supporting data, voice, and video.

    Maintains firewalls. switches (layer 2 and 3), wireless, VPNs, port security, NACLs, and Quality of Service for the organization. Work with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to ensure Service-Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and monitor band width utilization. Participates in Change Management and logs information for historical tracking. Maintains an inventory of equipment and properly catalogs OGHS property/assets. Achieves team goals by effectively prioritizing tasks and using available resources efficiently. Produces training material to educate teammates and customers on new and existing hardware/components/features. Provides timely and meaningful updates to Project Management and IT Leadership. Participates in risk management and incident response programs. Strong written and verbal skills. Strong critical thinking skills, ability to work independently, and attention to detail. Works hard to embody the OGHS Standards of Behavior and maintain a positive work environment. Participates in on-call rotation. Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications/Experience/Education:

    Education:
    Associates in Networking and/or IT related field required.
    Bachelor's preferred.

    5 years of experience in Information Technology5 years of experience in System Administration3 years of experience in IT SecurityAdditional Experience Preferred:
    Relevant professional certification (Juniper, Cisco, Aruba, F5, etc) preferred.


    Experience in following technologies required:

    Access Control and Identity Management Systems, Virtualization, Network Storage, Rack-mounted Servers, Operating Systems (Windows and Linux), Video Surveillance Systems, Ethernet/Fiber Switches and Routers, Wireless Infrastructure, and Telephony.
