    Position is onsite in Waterloo, IA.

    Part-time, approximately 30 hours per week

    Configuration Analyst I Major Purpose
    Develop and support variant configuration data and model structures.

    This includes creating base machines, cost reps, experimental build machine configurations, and other machine variations with supporting 3D CAD visualizations.

    They will complete audits to ensure accuracy of configuration logic and ensure machine model.

    At this level employees are working under the direction of more experienced members of the team and their work may be checked for accuracy.

    Work completed at this level is limited in terms of number of products or functional teams they are supporting.

    Education
    Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level

    Draft and maintain FOCUS software quality process documentation and work instructions
    Process software change requests and problem reports to assure adherence to PDP processes
    Review and verify work process steps performed by Software Engineers for accuracy and completion
    Provide administration and support for various embedded software development tools
    Develop and sustain knowledge sharing tools including various SharePoint sites
    Execute FOCUS onboarding/offboarding duties and schedule training sessions
    Facilitate, and contribute to various meetings regarding process improvements and defects
    Embrace and promote the Charthouse Learning FISH Philosophy as a means to enhance employee engagement and overall team culture.

    Required Skills, Knowledge, & Relevant Work Experience
    Acute attention to detail and focus on process
    Strong written and verbal communication skills
    High level of flexibility including the ability to handle rapidly changing priorities
    Experience in Microsoft Office applications as well as the ability to learn new tools

    Desired Skills, Knowledge, & Relevant Work Experience
    Bachelors degree in business, communications, or a related field
    Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
    Experience in embedded software development

    Education
    Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

    Major Duties

    Make recommendations to improve data and analytics systems and platforms, contributing to the continuous improvement and refinement of data and analytics strategy.

    Support collection of business requirements using a variety of methods, such as interviews, document analysis, and workflow analysis, to express requirements clearly and succinctly.

    Work independently to collate and analyze data using predetermined tools, methods, and formats to create standard insights.

    Contribute to the development of and implement feasibility testing of proposed engineering solutions to provide feedback and data to validate the design.

    Consult and educate stakeholders on methods for streamlining and standardizing data recording to ensure quality and accuracy.
    Help others get the most out of data management systems by providing support and advice.
    Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats. Involves working independently.

    Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.

    Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.

    Carry out a range of activities under the guidance of more senior colleagues to support the analysis of information and the specification of the methods and process steps, as well as the plant, machinery, and equipment, required to design and continuously improve manufacturing or materials processes and process systems.

    Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
    Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
