    Program Director

    Overview

    Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join the team as a Program Director.

    The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of nonprofit management principles and practices, as well as a proven track record of successfully managing and growing programs.

    This role requires strong leadership and guidance skills, with the ability to collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure program goals are met.

    About the Role

    • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve program objectives.
    • Manage program budgets and oversee program evaluation and reporting.
    • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure program goals are met.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to program staff.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for all services provided to participants and their families.
    • Oversee the intake process, including interviewing referrals and developing service or treatment plans.
    • Monitor service delivery and ensure that staff implements goals in service or treatment plans.
    • Identify, recruit, hire, train, monitor, and supervise direct service professional and administrative staff.
    • Provide direct service professional personnel with staff development and training sessions.
    • Conduct staff meetings and training sessions for program personnel.
    • Assist staff in creative problem solving and develop plans for discharge.
    • Ensure timely submission of administrative, fiscal, and billing documents.
    • Manage local program within budget parameters.

    Requirements

    • Master's Degree in Health and Human Services Area (i.e., Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, etc.).
    • Minimum one year of experience in community-based agency program.
