The IT Systems Administrator, Business Systems will be based in Fremont, CA. Onboarding will be virtual for the time being with occasional socially distanced meetings at a Nextracker office. In this position, you will report to the IT Infrastructure Manager.

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do...Technical support for IT systems; servers, network, as well as purchase, configuration, installation, maintenance, and upgrades of computer hardware.

Troubleshoot and Configure:
Servers and ApplicationsNetwork (Cisco and Netgear) and ConnectivityFirewalls (SonicWALL) and GatewaysIPSEC VPN configuration (SonicWALL Global VPN Client)

Active Directory, Office 365, , Okta, Confluence, Jira Administration, AWS and AzureSupplement helpdesk when necessary:

Deploy laptops and desktops in a domain environmentInventory and Asset TagGeneral network connectivity, file accessActive Directory account creation and password resetsPhone system support (VoIP)Provides day to day desktop support to user communityAccountable for the development and technical support of day to day desktop, network, printing, etc.

Software license managementComputer and network system maintenance and support

Must be proficient with Windows Server 2012/2016, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Office 2013/2016, Office 365, Okta, Box, Azure, AWS configuration, VPN client softwareStrong analytical and trouble shooting skills with attention to detailGood interpersonal skills and strong follow-up with usersMust have minimum 2-3 years of IT systems administration support experienceB.S.
