    Mobile Equipment Operator Specialist
    Full-time, Permanent

    Location: Demopolis, AL

    What You Will Be Doing:

    In this role, you will operate essential equipment including a log crane, chipper/debarker, and other mobile machinery within our wood pellet manufacturing facility. Maintenance and administrative support for Wood Yard operations are also key components of this position.

    • Operate and maintain various equipment, including log cranes, wheel loaders, knucklebooms, skid steers, and man lifts.
    • Cross-train on all relevant heavy equipment operations as needed.
    • Demonstrate a proactive approach by diagnosing problems and performing routine maintenance effectively.
    • Perform administrative tasks, use checklists, and maintain inventory and production reports.
    • Maintain cleanliness and safety within designated areas as part of your housekeeping responsibilities.

    Who You Are:

    • Do you have experience in the wood/fiber procurement or forest industry?
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • At least 2 years of experience operating industrial equipment.
    • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
    • Comfortable using computers for basic tasks such as email and reviewing documents.
