All religious, medical, or other legally recognized exemptions regarding vaccination status will be considered.Job SummaryThe Kitchen Expo is responsible for coordinating and expediting food orders in a suite's kitchen, ensuring the accurate preparation and timely delivery of dishes to customers/suites.
They play a crucial role in maintaining efficient communication between the kitchen and the front-of-house staff.Key Responsibilities Order Coordination:
Receive food orders from the Suite Attendants and review them for anize orders based on their preparation time and municate orders to the appropriate kitchen stations (e.g., appetizers, entrees, desserts) and ensure a smooth flow of production.
Quality Control:
Inspect dishes for quality, presentation, and adherence to Levy's standards before sending them to the appropriate Suite via our Levy Runners.
Timely Delivery:
Monitor the progress of orders in the kitchen and ensure they are prepared and plated within the specified time frame.
Responsibilities Communication:
Maintain clear and effective communication with kitchen staff, servers, and management to address any issues or special requests.
Relay special dietary requirements, allergies, or customer preferences to the kitchen.
Problem Resolution:
Handle any discrepancies or mistakes in orders promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Notify the chef or kitchen manager of any issues that require immediate anization:
Keep the expo station organized, clean, and well-stocked with necessary utensils, garnishes, and supplies.
Ensure that all plates, trays, and serving ware are ready for use.
Multitasking:
Handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Adapt to changes in the pace of service and prioritize tasks accordingly.
Qualifications Previous experience in a similar role within a restaurant or food service establishment is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
