    Description

    Position Summary

    This position involves performing Radiographic examinations under the supervision of a Physician. Responsibilities include assessing patients, assisting in fluoroscopic procedures, preparing films for interpretation, and maintaining records, supplies, and equipment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assessing patients and assisting in fluoroscopic procedures
    • Verifying Physician orders
    • Operating x-ray machine following protocols and performing radiographic exams
    • Processing radiographs and maintaining patient privacy
    • Establishing workflow programs and maintenance schedules
    • Resolving system errors and ensuring compliance with safety goals

    Qualifications

    Applicants should meet the following requirements:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Graduate of an accredited Imaging/Radiology program
    • Active Florida Radiology Technician/Technologist License
    • ARRT Certification
    • American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider
    • Proficiency in MS Office programs
    • Collaborative and adaptable in a team environment
