    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a reliable and proactive Janitor/Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our multifamily residential properties.

    Duties include performing routine cleaning tasks, minor maintenance repairs, and ensuring that communal areas are presentable for residents and visitors.

    The Janitor/Cleaner will contribute to creating a positive living environment for residents while adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.


    Responsibilities:

    • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in communal areas including hallways, lobbies, elevators, and recreational facilities.
    • Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and other common areas regularly to maintain hygiene standards.
    • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
    • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
    • Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel for repairs.
    • Assist maintenance technicians with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
    • Maintain outdoor areas by sweeping walkways, removing debris, and maintaining cleanliness of parking lots and grounds.
    • Follow safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests by addressing inquiries and concerns courteously and promptly.
    • Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning roles preferred.
    • Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
    • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions closely.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed.
