- Develop Hyperion Essbase Planning cubes, including outlines, load rules, calculation scripts, partitions, web forms, and security protocols.
- Design and maintain Planning Essbase ASO and BSO application databases, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
- Create and update integrations with FDMEE, utilizing hands-on knowledge.
- Implement system automation using Esscmd, Maxl scripts, Perl, Unix scripting, and Windows batch commands.
- Design and implement security models and protocols to safeguard data integrity and confidentiality.
- Tune and optimize Planning applications and Essbase databases for optimal data load, calculation, and query performance.
- Provide expertise in data modeling for OLAP and OLTP-based data warehouse systems.
- Develop various reporting structures and create system and user documents.
- Utilize Smart View ad hoc sheets for troubleshooting, data analysis, and reporting.
- 7 to 10+ years of Hyperion Essbase Planning experience.
- Extensive experience with FP&A planning models.
- Proficiency in all EPM Planning objects and tools.
- Strong command of Block Storage (BSO) concepts.
- Advanced skills in system automation and scripting.
- Experience with Essbase database migration and tuning.
- Expertise in data modeling for OLAP and OLTP systems.
- Hands-on experience with Smart View ad hoc sheets.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
