    Position Purpose:


    The Manager of Delivery Management is an experienced project professional responsible for leading a combination of planning and execution of activities related to delivery of large initiatives and/or financial/budgeting activity for their teams.

    Managers are responsible for leading a team of project management professionals. They are also responsible for attracting, retaining and developing top talent. When leading project delivery, Managers support their team in execution of their projects. They are also responsible for leading large, cross functional initiatives across the organization. When performing financial/budgeting activities they are responsible for developing and implementing efficient and accurate processes for financial management. They are also responsible for maintaining vendor relationships, partnering with other leaders to influence contract negotiations. They are also responsible for providing leadership financial reporting.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • 50% Delivery & Execution - Works with stakeholders to support the project planning effort, including the formulation of the project scope, definition of the project deliverables and the required delivery dates, creation of a logical work breakdown structure, and definition of major project milestones; Awareness of overall change management needs across both business and technology groups. Applies and guides team on change management processes and practices across programs, project and/ initiatives. Collaborates with stakeholders to integrate technology changes into the overall change roadmap; Understands organizational/initiative goals and guides team members to align processes and project work. Proactively identifies barriers and partners with leadership to mitigate. Facilitates across multiple domains and complex initiatives; Applies and guides team members on Project Management best practices. Collaborates with leaders to create standards and processes that increase business value. Supports and executes against quarterly planning and prioritization. Applies lessons learned to inform future initiatives; Works with stakeholders to determine and align dependencies, then proactively risk and issues via identification and mitigation plans; Sets outcome-focused goals and ensures accountability to deliver on commitments. Scope typically includes execution and/or supporting team of large, complex projects across matrix organization. Leads team through issue / obstacle resolution in order to maintain team momentum and productivity; Ability to communicate and negotiate across the organization. Seeks to understand stakeholder perspective and apply it to project delivery. Guides project team to develop their communication plan and stakeholder approach
    • 25% People Leadership - Attracts, retains, and develops top talent; Provides leadership, mentoring, and coaching to team
    • 25% Resource & Financial Management - Maintains vendor relationships. Partners with other leaders to make suggestions on pricing negotiations, SLAs, resource plans, etc; Executes and leads fiscal management and reporting for operational, product/business, technology, and vendor stakeholders; includes gross labor, capital spend, and non-labor forecasting for tracking, reporting, and variance analysis

    Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

    • This Position typically reports to Sr Mgr of Delivery Management
    • This Position has 2 Direct Reports

    Travel Requirements:

    • Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

    Working Conditions:

    • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
    • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 5 years working in marketing/advertising/retail media program management role
    • Experience managing cross functional software development initiatives
    • Working knowledge of Tableau
    • Working knowledge of presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint)
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
    • Ability to draw accurate conclusions from financial documentation
    • Demonstrated project management skills
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work
    • Ability to negotiate, handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances with both internal and external customers effectively with cross-functional teams
    • 5 years of relevant work experience
    • Deep experience in project delivery across different types of initiatives in a matrix environment
    • Deep experience with Microsoft Office tools and Project Management tools (MS Project, JIRA, etc.)
    • Deep experience with the planning and execution of projects and risk mitigation strategies;
    • Deep experience with project management execution in a modern software environment via multiple methodologies with blended approaches based on project goals; deep experience managing technical projects
    • Experience managing and growing team members in a professional setting

    Minimum Education:

    • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
