    Description

    Job Role: Application Architect

    Location: Madison, WI

    (Onsite or Hybrid or Remote): Remote.

    (Relocation Allowed or Relocation not Allowed): No relocation allowed. Candidate must be a CURRENT WI resident.

    Contract Duration: 3+ months.

    Full Job Description:

    • Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior managers to determine business-specific application needs.
    • Develop and implement application development plans.
    • Demonstrate prototypes and integrate user feedback.
    • Write code, install, and update applications.
    • Provide end-user technical support.
    • Perform diagnostic tests and debugging procedures.
    • Manage application integration, maintenance, upgrades, and migration.
    • Document development processes and standards.
    • Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience as an application architect.
    • Proficiency in SQL and JavaScript.
    • Willingness to learn and configure cloud/on-prem solutions.
    • Experience aligning development with business needs.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and time management skills.
    • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
