OVERVIEW OF THE ACCOUNTING ANALYST ROLE:

• Work with FP&A Manager providing financial expertise with grants administration
• Accounting Analyst programs transfers and processes grants payment requests in Financial Edge
• Analyze data and compile them into composite reports
• Accounting Analyst analyzes processes, procedures, and policies to make improvements
• Manage grants projects and reconcile grant fund balances

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR ACCOUNTING ANALYST ROLE:

• Accounting Analyst needs to have a minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting; Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• Open to industry but nonprofit is a plus
• Experience with Blackbaud, Financial Edge or Raiser's Edge is a plus
• Accounting Analyst should have solid Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
