    Rondo Energy's mission is to eliminate 15% of global CO2 emissions in 15 years.


    To accomplish this mission, Rondo is deploying low-cost, zero-carbon Rondo Heat Batteries to accelerate the deployment of renewable energy and to significantly decarbonize industrial processes that are commonly thought of as "difficult-to-decarbonize".

    Our Heat Batteries charge from intermittent renewables to provide high temperature, continuous heat for customers safely, reliably, at an unprecedented 98% efficiency - and at a cost point that is lower than any other method.


    We are looking for an experienced , customer-centric Director of Product to join our team and repower industrial heat at scale.

    In this role, you will work closely with the Rondo E ngineering and Commercial teams, external partners, and prospective customers to lead Rondo's product management team and set the direction of Rondo's product development roadmap.

    You will be responsible for Rondo's management of change process on current product offerings and working with the commercial team to effectively communicate to our customers and understand their needs.

    What You Will Do

    (key responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to):
    Lead Rondo's product management team
    Maintain an up-to-date definition of Rondo's current product offerings and create resources for Rondo's commercial organization to communicate strategic product differentiators
    Establish and run the management of change process for Rondo's commercial product offerings
    Collaboratively plan and design the product roadmap, partnering with design engineering team to execute on it


    This includes:
    driving partnerships in industry for co-development of technology for new applications, gathering and evaluating market data and customer requirements for product offerings, and prioritizing product features and clearly communicating to key stakeholders on the reasoning
    Own project budgets - identify needs and allocate appropriate resources
    Present progress and challenges to senior leadership


    What You Will Bring:
    A Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering, or equivalent work experience
    7+ years of technical product management experience including in-depth assignments within engineering or technical product development
    A proven track record of managing one or more products, including long-term strategy
    A proven track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams
    Robust leadership skills
    An understanding of energy markets and the ability to become an expert in Rondo's product and market position
    Strong technical writing and communication skills.
    Expert at managing tight deadlines.
    Ability to travel occasionally as needed within the United States for customer, partner, and in-person Rondo meetings (if remote).
