    Description
    This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer.     Duties
    You will perform design management of designs and services of architectural and engineering (A/E) design firms.
    You will identify areas of risk associated with design and construction projects to develop mitigation strategies or alternatives.
    You will resolve design review comments with architectural and engineering (A/E) design firms to correct deficiencies.

    You will prepare final detailed working drawings, comparative cost analysis, Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and project specifications for a wide variety of facility types.

    You will perform design analysis and calculations for civil projects.

    Requirements
    Must be a US Citizen.
    Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
    Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

    This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites.

    You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

    You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

    Qualifications

    In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

    Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing services for civil engineering projects involving planning, design, construction and maintenance of facilities; 2) Interpreting objectives and policies in order to resolve a variety of complex water or wastewater system problems; 3) Applying project management techniques to ensure proper coordination, planning, budgeting and execution of facility or utility projects; and 4) Using knowledge of large commercial / industrial facilities such as wastewater treatment systems, distribution systems and structures to independently perform technical review of complex, advanced components of the facility and manufactured elements of the facility.
