    Optometrist Position in California

    Practice Setting:

    • Comprehensive health center with 60+ exam rooms, including handicap-accessible and pre-testing rooms
    • Supportive team including Opticians, Technicians, and Optical Staff
    • Advanced technology featuring Opti-Map, Visual Field, OCT, and more

    Schedule:

    • Monday to Friday
      • Patient mix is 40% medical optometry, 60% comprehensive/refractive care

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • Competitive salary, starting at $145,000, with daily bonus potential and generous sign-on and relocation bonuses
      • Comprehensive benefits include health, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus a retirement plan with matching contributions
      • Up to $3,000 annually for continuing education, with student loan forgiveness options available
      • 3 weeks of paid time off, 15 sick days, and ample support

    Location:

    • Atwater, CA A charming community with a population of 40K, located in Merced County
    • Enjoy Yosemite National Park (2 hours away), Lake Yosemite, and the coastal areas of Monterey and Carmel (2 hours away)

    Candidate Qualifications:

    • Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited school
    • Active California State License and current CPR certification
    • New grads are welcome to apply
    • Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates
