- Wiz Kids Camps are seasonal youth sports camps that offer athletic and academic enrichment to participants.
- Various locations in the Chicago Metropolitan Area
- The Tennis Director is responsible for creating the tennis curriculum and overseeing the day-to-day implementation of the tennis program. Directors play a key role in creating and defining each of the Core Sports programs with Wiz Kids Sports Camps programs and take a visible leadership role at camp. They serve as the primary instructors for teaching fundamental skills as well as more advanced strategy.
- Directors should be passionate about their sport and love working with young athletes ranging from grades 1st through 8th
- In addition to leading the tennis program, the Tennis Director will work alongside Assistant Coaches and are in a position to offer guidance and feedback, in addition to functioning as their director supervisor. (Assistant Coaches, also called Junior Associates, have the dual role of serving as a camp counselor -chaperoning, supervising and guiding campers through the day‐to-day activities of the overall camp experience.
- Assistant Coaches placed in the tennis program will have a fundamental knowledge of the sport but may not have prior experience with coaching or teaching
- Serve as head of sport, responsible for execution of daily drill and match-play sessions
- Develop and lead daily sport specific drill and game components
- Communicate equipment and facility needs to camp leadership staff
- Create and maintain collaborative relationships with Assistant Coaches
- Ensure the welfare of campers and positive resolution of camper related issues by communication clearly and consistently with camp leadership staff
- Arrange in camp competition programming for campers grades 1st to 8th against competing programs
- Willingness to comply with Suspected Child Abuse Reporting (Subsection (a)(6) of 325 ILCS 5-4).

Job Description
Wiz Kids Sports Camps, LLC is seeking an enthusiastic professional to coordinate tennis related activities during the summer camp session.
Qualifications
Prior tennis related head coaching experience at the elementary or high school level. Coaching certification (USPTR or USPTA) is highly preferred.
Position Responsibilities
Work Environment
The outdoor tennis activities will take place daily on all camo locations). Periodically when weather does not permit outdoor activities, the indoor tennis plans will be implemented.
Camp Hours
From June through August, camp runs Monday through Thursday and Fridays are designated as field trip days. Specific working hours will be established once the final candidate is selected.

Compensation
This is a contracted hourly position. Wiz Kids Foundation will present the selected candidate with a competitive contracted rate. Contract arrangement is subject to a comprehensive background check.
