    Role:

    We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Director to join our team The Human Resources Director position provides human resources generalist support, including payroll, benefits and recruitment management, as well as the ongoing support and development of a quality workforce. This is a one-person department, with dotted line accountability to Corporate Office in Overland Park, KS.

    Responsibilities:
    • Manages and processes semi-monthly payroll according to accepted accounting principles, regulations and company policy/procedure and timelines.
    • Assists with the development and implementation of services, policies and programs for staff.
    • Assists facility directors and staff with all Human Resources related issues.
    • Manages the recruiting and staffing function.
    • Prepares for employee orientation by developing materials and participating in training and recordkeeping; coordinates. new hire paperwork and orientation/on-boarding process.
    • Maintains facility online education system (CE Solutions).
    • Prepares, communicates and monitors the performance evaluation process for employees.
    • Supports and guides management on employee relations issues.
    • Addresses employee safety, welfare, wellness and maintains health reporting.
    • Maintains confidential employee files, hard copy and electronic, and the HR/Payroll filing system.
    • Processes FMLA and other leaves of absence requests, including ADA accommodations.
    • Administers employee benefits plans; reviews monthly billings for accuracy.
    Planning and Time Utilization:
    • Demonstrate the ability to set and establish priorities, manage time efficiently.
    • Must be able to work under pressure and with interruptions.
    • Ability to take initiative, be self-motivated and be an independent, accountable, dependable performer.
    • Effective planning, organizational and detail-oriented skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects and adjust workload accordingly.
    • May be required to work occasional extended and/or weekend hours.
    Other:
    • Occasional travel to other Communities and/or corporate office may be required.
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively handle confidential information.
    • Demonstrated problem solving and judgment capabilities.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Must get along well with others, encourage teamwork and strive to pursue collective goals.
    • Maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner.
    • Maintains a well-groomed, professional appearance.
    Qualifications

    Qualifications:
    • Post-secondary education, preferably with an emphasis in Human Resources Management or Business, and/or a minimum of 2 years broad HR experience.
    • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or CPP would be a plus.
    • Computer literacy with Microsoft products as well as HRIS advanced user skills;
    • Paycom HRIS/Payroll software system experience preferred.
