    Description

    Servicing Support for Recovery and Growth

    This role is pivotal in coordinating essential services for residents, focusing on recovery, employment, education, support groups, and housing.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist residents in securing quality housing that meets HUD standards.

    • Foster positive relationships between residents and landlords/property managers, advocating for residents when necessary.

    • Provide case management, enhancing daily living skills such as self-care, nutrition, and sanitation.

    • Regularly visit apartments (minimum twice a month) to address resident needs.

    • Maintain accurate and timely records of case notes, individual housing plans, and other required documentation.

    • Collaborate with residents to set and achieve individual housing goals, identifying relevant resources and referrals.

    • Support and encourage resident participation in educational or vocational programs.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field, along with at least six months of human service experience. Relevant internships may be applied towards the required experience.

    • Master's degree in Human Services or a related field, with a minimum of one year of human service experience. Internships may also be considered towards meeting the requirement.

    • A valid New York State driver's license with an acceptable driving record and reliable transportation are mandatory.

    Compensation:

    $20.00 per hour
