    Overview

    Westminster College, MO seeks an exceptional Director of Plant Operations and College Facilities Management to lead its facilities department. This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in facilities management, construction, project oversight, maintenance, and operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement short- and long-term department goals, objectives, and strategic plans for plant operations, facilities, and grounds.
    • Establish and oversee budgets for plant operations, ensuring effective resource allocation and management.
    • Serve as the primary campus contact for federal, state, and local regulatory agencies applicable to plant operations.
    • Provide leadership, guidance, and organization to the plant operations department and services staff, ensuring best practices are implemented and a culture of quality customer service is maintained.
    • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across campus to create best practices for communication, operations, and engagement to support the needs of the campus and the mission of the college.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in facilities management, operations, or construction management, or relevant field, or equivalent experience.
    • At least 7-10 years of progressive management experience leading the operations of a facilities department and a team of service workers.
    • Comprehensive understanding of facilities, construction, project oversight, maintenance, and operations.
    • Experience overseeing operational budgets and work order processes.

    Salary and Benefits

    We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision options, health savings account, supplemental options, life insurance, retirement plan, tuition remission, and paid holidays.
