    The Pinnacle of Louisville is looking for a Director of Sales

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Director of Sales is responsible for the overall sales and marketing and public relations strategies designed to meet and exceed community census goals. General responsibilities include developing marketing plans, coordinating advertising strategies, completing direct sales calls, completing tours with prospective residents, planning in-house marketing events and maintaining marketing collaterals and brochures. The Director of Sales ensures that policies and procedures related to customer service and marketing are implemented and maintained consistently. All department directors report directly to the Executive Director.

    JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITIES:

    1. Planning
    2. Assists the Executive Director in the development of marketing plan, including a quarterly competitive analysis.
    3. Successfully organizes and implements the marketing plan on a daily basis; Know budgeted census, admission goals and actual census at all times.
    4. Plans in-house events designed to educate the community on the services and strengths of the community.
    5. Practices excellent time management skills and completes tasks within company time frames.
    6. Direction and Implementation
    7. Makes at least 10-15 direct sales calls with referral sources each week.
    8. Completes sales calls according to the annual marketing plan (primary, secondary and tertiary referral sources). Maintains an average minimum of 12 hot leads per month.
    9. Utilizes the CRM software program daily in order to document inquiries, deposits, admissions, discharges, census, schedule, advertising and sales calls.
    10. Ensures occupancy/census goals are achieved through qualified admissions.
    11. Ensures all staff are trained in greeting guests and can actively participate during tours.
    12. Models professionalism, compassion and courtesy at all times.
    13. Ensures that model rooms are available and ready for viewing at all times.
    14. Develops and maintains strong relationships with community and civic organizations, such as The Alzheimer's Association, Rotary Clubs, Chambers of Commerce, Senior Centers, etc.
    15. An average of at least four admissions per month are required for success.
    16. Coordinates events with the Director of Activities.
    17. Provides thorough and accurate information to the Wellness department in order to complete pre-admission assessments for prospective residents.
    18. Coordinates admissions and discharges with the Director of Maintenance to ensure a minimum turnaround time for vacated apartments and verifies the apartment's readiness prior to a resident's admission.
    19. Recommends innovative ideas to the Executive Director for marketing, advertising, collaterals and public relations.
    20. Regulation and Policy Compliance
    21. Ensures that RSL's policies and procedures are followed as they relate to marketing and advertising.
    22. Maintains Federal, State, County and City regulations.
    23. Maintains a working knowledge and demonstrates acceptable performance skills in:
    24. Resident rights and responsibilities.
    25. Respect for residents' belongings.
    26. Respect for residents' privacy.
    27. Respect for residents' religious beliefs.
    28. Respect for interpersonal relationships with family and other staff members.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Must be able to relate to the elderly in a positive manner.
    2. Must possess good marketing and public relations skills.
    3. A minimum of two (2) years prior experience in a sales position operating retirement, assisted living or skilled nursing community, or related business.
    4. High School diploma, higher education, and accompanied by specific training and/or certification in management activities.
    5. Must possess a current state specific driver's license and appropriate driving record.
    6. Must be fidelity bondable.

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

    • Good communication skills, verbal and written; English language skills adequate to allow communication with residents and staff, and to understand written and verbal instructions. Compassion for the elderly and sick. Self-motivation.

    UNIVERSAL PRECAUTIONS:

    • Exposure to blood/body fluid is not likely.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Push, pull, and lift at least 30 pounds. Frequent transporting of residents in wheelchairs.
