    We're excited to continue solidifying that foundation as we are looking for a Plumber to join our growing team in Daytona Beach, FloridaThe Plumber, under supervision of the Facility Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plumbing equipment/systems for the Brown & Brown Daytona Beach campus, plus all other designated company properties.


    What You'll Do:
    Performs routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and fixesInstall, maintain, and enhance plumbing systems and components, including pipes, valves, fittings and hot water heatersInspect, test, and diagnose issues with plumbing systems and componentsPerform all work in a manner that meets and follows plumbing codes, blueprints, and standardsTest plumbing systems and components to ensure proper functioningComplete required documentation of repairs and service informationEnsure adequate inventory of necessary supplies and partsPerform preventative maintenance on plumbing systems and componentsOther duties may be assignedKnowledge / Skills / Abilities:Working knowledge of plumbing theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipmentInstall, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial structuresComfortable reading and blueprints and building plansAbility to calculate basic mathematical problemsTroubleshoot problems and make timely repairsWorking knowledge of Florida building codes and regulationsWhat You'll NeedRequired:Completion of a plumbing program at a technical or trade schoolCompletion of a plumbing apprenticeship program3-5 years of plumbing experienceValid driver's license in state of FloridaDemonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with plumbing workWilling to work overtime and take on-callPreferred:Journeyman Plumber, licensed in state of FloridaFamiliarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper
