- Take charge of the daily operations of the oral surgery practice, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal patient experience.
- Lead and motivate a dedicated team of clinical staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Provide guidance and support to enhance individual and collective performance.
- Assist the surgical team, demonstrating a hands-on approach to support clinical procedures and maintain a high standard of patient care.
- Implement and uphold quality assurance protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, infection control measures, and best practices in oral surgery.
- Identify opportunities for professional growth within the team and provide training to enhance skills, knowledge, and performance.
- Collaborate with front office staff to address patient concerns, inquiries, and ensure a smooth patient journey from scheduling to post-operative care.
- Efficiently manage resources, including equipment, supplies, and staffing, to optimize productivity and cost-effectiveness.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions to overcome challenges and improve operational efficiency
- A strong motivation to learn, coupled with a genuine passion for healthcare and direct patient care.
- Previous experience in sedation, showcasing a solid foundation in oral surgery is a requirement for this position.
- Proven experience in managing a medical practice or clinical coordinator role is mandatory.
- Familiarity with WinOMS or Open Dental is preferred.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications such as email and Microsoft Office is necessary.
- The role may require occasional travel, and candidates should be willing to accommodate such needs.
- Demonstrated follow-through, effective communication skills, and reliability are indispensable qualities for success in this role.
- NH MedTech (for NH Assistants only).
- CPR certification to ensure readiness in emergency situations.
- Radiology certification or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire, ensuring proficiency in capturing diagnostic images.
- DAANCE certification is preferred, or the ability to achieve it within 1 year of hire, indicating a commitment to professional development in dental anesthesia and sedation
