    **Position is located in Sioux Falls, SD**

    Kannas Automotive & Performance is looking for a skilled Technician with extensive knowledge of many different vehicle platforms to join our team

    Tech will be performing a wide range of tasks and responsibilities including but not limited to diagnosing, install high performance parts (ie. exhaust systems, turbocharger systems, intake systems, fuel systems, etc.) as well as perform regular scheduled maintenance (ie. clutch, timing belt/chain, transmission services, etc.).

    Experience level:
    ~ 5 years

    Compensation:
    ~ $20-30 per hour depending on experience

    Schedule:
    ~ Monday to Friday
    ~ No weekends

    Responsibilities, Skills and Qualifications

    • Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
    • Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
    • Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
    • Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues
    • Understanding of automotive air-conditioning systems
    • Proven experience as auto mechanic
    • Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
    • Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
    • Ability to handle various tools and equipment
    • At least five years of experience working in the automotive industry
    • A valid driver's license and a clear driving record
    • Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle
