Aqua-Chem is looking for an 2nd Shift MIG/TIG Welder who is responsible for welding/assembling components and subassemblies in accordance with company standards.
Working primarily in a manufacturing setting, successful candidate will work under the direction of a Manufacturing Supervisor.Schedule:
2nd Shift; Monday - Thursday, 4:30pm - 3:00am
Pay Range:
$ $25.00/hr (Dependent on Experience) +10%

Match, Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, and Paid Sick TimeEssential Duties:
Daily pipe welding of materials such as stainless steel, Titanium, and Copper Nickel Assembly of pipe sections, tubing, or fittings with the use of welding equipment Layout of full-scale drawings of pipe systems according to specifications Welding of pipes using specialized techniques, equipment or materials.
Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space Comprehend and follow ISO procedures to ensure compliance with standard Movement of materials and/or finished products to facilitate proper flow within the manufacturing process Demonstrate ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time Perform rigging, lifting and moving of product using cranes, forklifts, metal carts etc.
Participate in Continuous Improvement program Guide/mentor/train co-workers in accordance with company standards Perform other duties as required by Supervisor or ManagerRequirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen Must be able to work up to 12 hours standing and walking on cement surfaces and will be required to regularly bend, stretch, stoop, squat, climb ladders, and climb stairs Must be able to work in temperature ranges corresponding to the outside ambient temperature Advanced shop math, layout and measurement skills Advanced reading and interpretation of blueprints/drawings Able to work overtime as required
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED 1-5 years welding in a manufacturing environment Previous experience welding of materials such as Titanium and Copper Nickel MIG/TIG experience Familiar with NDE Procedures Previous pipefitting experience
