    Locum - Physician - Anesthesiology

    Samaritan Hospital and St. Peter's Health Partners are seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join their team as soon as credentialed.

    This hospital-based practice is designed to provide comprehensive anesthesia care in a supportive environment, with 10 operating rooms and a diverse case mix that includes orthopedics, urology, dental, and more.

    The facility offers travel reimbursement for flights, hotels, and rental cars, making it an excellent opportunity for locum tenens work.


    Job Responsibilities:
    Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical cases.
    Supervise CRNAs as needed, with a typical MD:CRNA ratio of 1:3/4.
    Monitor patient safety before, during, and after anesthesia administration.
    Perform spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia procedures.
    Participate in night and weekend on-call rotations.
    Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.

    Qualifications:
    Board Certified in Anesthesiology (Required)
    Active New York State License at time of submission (Required)
    Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (Required)
    Availability to work at least two weeks per month (Required)
    Self-Query NPDB report required within the month of submission (Required)
    Full-time availability (Preferred)

    License and Certification Requirements:
    Active NY State License
    Board Certification in Anesthesiology
    Current certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS
