- Generates authorizations using designated software.
- Ensures proper documentation and communication regarding patient care.
- Participates in daily huddles and maintains effective communication with medical staff.
- Manages inpatient and outpatient procedures effectively.
- Reschedules missed appointments and ensures follow-up on orders.
- Delivers exceptional customer service to patients and team members.
- Performs various other related duties.
- Must be detail-oriented and capable of multitasking.
- Proficient in using computer software systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment.
- Strong organizational skills and familiarity with medical terminology.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum one year of relevant work experience.
- Experience with obtaining referrals and authorizations preferred.
- Healthcare background in a clinical setting is advantageous.
