    Job Title: Food Service Lead

    Job Purpose:

    As a Food Service Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Food Service Department, adhering to company policies, while maximizing profitability and maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • General Management:
      • Ensure the food service department is operational and fully prepared for customers during scheduled hours.
      • Optimize associate scheduling to meet business needs effectively.
      • Deliver prompt, courteous service to all customers.
      • Maintain clear communication with store associates and management.
      • Comply with federal, state, and local laws related to department operations.
      • Model exemplary conduct for fellow associates.
      • Manage variable expenses to keep them within budget.
      • Ensure associates are in proper uniform and provide excellent customer service.
    • Bookkeeping:
      • Accurately complete and submit all paperwork in a timely fashion.
      • Manage inventory levels while adhering to company guidelines.
      • Conduct inventories as instructed by management.
      • Ensure accurate recording of hours worked by associates.
    • Human Resources:
      • Treat all associates with dignity and respect while applying appropriate personnel management techniques.
      • Ensure all associates have scheduled breaks.
      • Inform the Store Manager of any personnel issues affecting performance.
      • Train new associates on their job responsibilities.
    • Security:
      • Ensure adherence to associate shift procedures.
      • Promote a safe shopping and working environment.
      • Follow all safety protocols and use protective equipment as required.
    • Merchandising:
      • Implement the current sign program from its start date.
      • Adhere to current plan-o-grams.
      • Communicate any special needs or requests to the Division Manager.
      • Order merchandise effectively to maintain stock levels and prevent shortages.
    • Maintenance:
      • Maintain the food service area to meet appearance standards.
      • Keep food service display cases and surfaces clean.
      • Report any maintenance issues to the store manager for assistance.
      • Ensure cleanliness and compliance with sanitation procedures in all food service areas.
    • Safety:
      • Utilize ladders correctly.
      • Follow company lifting procedures.
      • Employ wet floor signs when necessary.
      • Report all accidents swiftly to the Store Manager and corporate office.
    • Huck's Bucks Loyalty App:
      • Promote the Huck's Bucks Loyalty app to customers.
      • Educate customers on the benefits of the app.
      • Oversee transactions to prevent misuse of points or discounts.
      • Assist customers in signing up and using the app for discounts and rewards.
