    We are a local family-owned company with 60 years of experience in Western NY, looking for qualified drivers to create the Modern Experience for our customers.


    Job Summary

    A Driver is responsible for safely operating a collection truck and providing prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services to customers.


    Essential Responsibilities

    • Perform pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure safety equipment and controls are in proper working order.
    • Safely operate his or her heavy truck along designated routes, reading route sheets and following maps to service each customer.
    • Courteously interact with all customers, dispatchers, and others on a daily basis to ensure timely and professional service.
    • Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag them according to applicable procedures.
    • Maintain adherence to required productivity standards and follow all safety policies and procedures.

    Requirements

    • Clean Class B Commercial Driver's license and DOT physical card.
    • 3+ years of experience driving large trucks or buses.
    • Able to comply with company policy on controlled substances and alcohol.
    • Positive safety record.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Commitment to customer service.
