    Description

    Job Title: Manager, Human Resources - Payroll and Benefits

    3 Month - Contract to Hire

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    Payroll Processing:


    • Supervise the entire payroll process for a large and diverse manufacturing workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance within established timelines.


    • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to validate payroll data.


    • Resolve discrepancies and address employee queries regarding payroll matters.


    • Efficiently process payroll using ADP and Workday systems.

    Benefits Administration:


    • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, 401(k), and disability.


    • Coordinate open enrollment processes and communicate benefit changes to employees.


    • Collaborate with benefits providers to ensure smooth administration and address employee concerns.

    Compliance:


    • Stay updated on federal, state, and local regulations related to payroll and benefits.


    • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and other relevant statutes.


    • Conduct periodic audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance.

    Reporting and Analytics:


    • Collaborate with HR and other departments to streamline payroll and benefits processes.


    • Optimize benefits offerings in collaboration with external vendors and consultants.

    Reporting:


    • Generate and analyze payroll and benefits reports to provide management insights.


    • Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders as required.


    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.

    Skills and Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).


    • Over 5 years of experience overseeing Payroll and Benefits, with a strong preference for manufacturing experience.


    • Minimum of 10 years of overall payroll experience.


    • In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, benefits administration, and compliance requirements.


    • Proficiency in HRIS (Workday, ADP) and MS Office applications, especially Excel.


    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


    • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.


    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.


    • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail
