    The Opportunity

    As a Wealth Strategist Wholesaler, you will play a critical role in growing and developing new wealth management sales within your territory by working closely with company's financial advisors and their high-net-worth clients. You will provide sales expertise for the following solutions: Trust, Outsourced CIO, hedging, model management, custom portfolios, and WMS. You will partner with financial professionals to strengthen their practice and guide them in securing affluent family assets by providing complex investment, fiduciary, and private client service solutions.

    The Impact:

    The Wealth Strategist operates as an external wholesaler and is responsible for advancing trust, investment, and private wealth service solutions tailored to the more complex needs of HNW clients. They are responsible for solving advisor and client problems while growing sales in their assigned territory. In the role, they will:

    • Bring a deep understanding of portfolio management, HNW investment solutions, and estate planning strategies. They will use this understanding to guide advisors and clients toward solutions that meet the more complex needs of the client.
    • Work closely with financial advisors on case design, in a consultative manner, by providing deep product knowledge, historical analysis, and legal document reviews to position advisors and to increase HNW relationships
    • Identify and then collaborate with a team of wealth, tax, trust, and investment experts to create a compelling solution set that differentiates the advisor and Trust Company
    • Design marketing strategies, collateral, and product/investment illustrations to enable sales and new business growth within the territory
    • Ensure a seamless client onboarding experience by working collaboratively with other investment, fiduciary and operational areas
    • Identify opportunities requiring more complex investment, trust and private wealth solutions and drive sales and AUM growth for their assigned territory
    • Provide advisor training on wealth planning, trust, and private client service solutions
    • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to an Internal Wholesaler that is dedicated to supporting the territory

    The Minimum Qualifications

    • 5 + years of external sales experience selling investment management and trust services
    • Self-motivated team player with a consultative and collaborative mindset
    • Problem solver with strong business acumen and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to travel 50% as required
    • FINRA Licensing – Series 7 and Series 63
    • Bachelor's degree

    The Ideal Qualifications

    • Previous sales experience through an intermediary or financial advisor channel
    • Extensive experience with complex investment, estate planning, financial planning, trust and private client solutions tailored to the HNW market segment
    • CFA, CIMA, CTFA, ChFC or CFP designation
