Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Fayetteville, GA (Day 1 Onsite)

Qualifications

Work with Active Directory, DNS, VMWare, Hyper-V, firewalls, and routing
Integrate identity and user management solutions provided by Azure or third-party tools
Working knowledge of NSX-T
Working knowledge of VMware Aria Operations for Network
Experience with SIEM (Security Incident and Event Management) tools
Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Architect or similar role
Strong understanding of cloud computing, virtualization, and infrastructure management
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Master's degree in Computer Networking, Information Technology, or related field, and five years of software, infrastructure engineering, architecture experience, or related
Certification with Amazon Web Services and Azure
Experience with Cisco network equipment;
Experience with F5 Load Balancers;
Experience with Global Site Load Balancer;
Experience with Infoblox; and
Experience with L4-7 services integration in a data center environment

Responsibilities

Development, and Production environments
Assess emerging technologies, stay abreast of industry trends, and give advice on investments prices versus performance
Lead and support technical teams to architect, build, and deploy cloud solutions across public, private and hybrid cloud environments to support enterprise
Responsible for designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting infrastructure, cloud services, network, and infrastructure security
Work closely with other cloud teams, project managers, engineers, and other functions
Plan for system and application migrations to the cloud, adhering to the applications technical and business requirements
Lead the development of technical artifacts including Detailed Technical Design, Security Architecture Plan, Services Description Document, etc
Develop and document technical designs for integration and implementation of new cloud applications and systems
Integrate with non-cloud technologies and third-party vendor products and services
Optimize cost of cloud solutions by identifying waste and automating cloud cost management
Plan and develop support processes that adhere to best practices (ITIL)
Communicate effectively through strong written and oral communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
