    As a Factory Cost Analyst, you will provide financial and control expertise to the Electrification Installation Products "ELIP" plant in Jonesboro, AR, benchmarking KPIs while working with other finance professionals to understand the drivers of financial performance, identifying trends relevant to the business.

    You will study business performance, including financial modelling to forecast the impacts and risks, and recommend areas for continuous improvement.

    This role will need to be able to work in person at our Jonesboro, AR facility. Please note - having experience in a factory setting is critical for success in this role.
    Your responsibilities

    Helping to prepare financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting documents and presentations
    Analyze the drivers of financial performance and identify trends. Prepare financial modeling for various "what if" scenarios and the overall impact to the factory.


    Special focus areas:
    product/business line profitability, product costing, production variances, over/under-absorption analysis, and inventory analysis
    Communicate information to relevant stakeholder groups to support corrective action plans
    Optimize performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplication and coordinating information requirements
    Establish and oversee processes and tools to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information
    Maintain audit trails and documentation for future audits and reviews
    Ensure timely and efficient communication with controllers and the relevant peers to identify and discuss issues and suggestions for improvement
    Your background

    Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business is highly preferred
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in a cost accounting or financial analyst role in a factory environment required
    Experience with computerized accounting systems and financial reporting software, including SAP, LX, Oracle or related financial systems
    Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask
    Strong written and verbal communication skills
    English language skill(s) and proficiency
    Strong Microsoft Excel skills and demonstrated proficiency with other Microsoft Office products
    Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
