    Our client, a large non-profit located in the downtown area of New Orleans, it's looking for a customer/client expert If you have a successful history of working with the public and of top-level conflict resolution, this is a great opportunity This position is temporary and will run a minimum of six months with the possibility of extending further with high call volumes.

    Pay is commiserate with experience, and will start between $30/hr. and $40/hr.


    Responsibilities:
    Provide one-on-one assistance to residential and commercial/industrial customers, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
    Handle utility billing issues arising from incoming calls, ensuring efficient resolution.
    Assist customers with questions.
    Communicate and facilitate upcoming changes coming to the billing process.
    Proactively engage with customers to ensure timely bill payments, mitigating contested bills through clear explanations of new billing


    Requirements:
    Previous experience with large commercial and industrial customers preferred.
    Proficiency in managing difficult customer conversations.
    Strong conflict resolution skills, capable of making informed decisions based on detailed account data.
    Ability to report trends and patterns in customer issues to management for strategic adjustments.
