    Job Description

    A licensed Pharmacist is needed to support a high-volume mail order/specialty pharmacy processing around 2,500 prescriptions daily. This opportunity offers the flexibility of working locally in Mendota Heights, MN, or traveling to assist the team on a contract basis. The role provides coverage due to recent state requirement changes and supports pharmacists preparing for additional state exams.

    Location: Mendota Heights, MN (local or travel)

    Schedule:

    • 1 day per week
    • Approximately 16 weeks, with potential for ongoing extension

    Responsibilities:

    • Accurately dispense and verify prescriptions in a mail order/specialty pharmacy setting
    • Adhere to state and federal regulations, ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws
    • Collaborate with pharmacy team to maintain operational efficiency during peak periods
    • Support quality assurance efforts and assist with documentation
    • Provide expert guidance on medication therapy as needed

    Qualifications & Desired Experience:

    • Active Illinois Pharmacist license required
    • Minnesota license preferred but not mandatory
    • Licenses must be in good standing with the respective state boards
    • Prior experience in mail order or specialty pharmacy preferred
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
