What will you do?

This position is responsible for providing high quality engineering per specifications, standards, budgets and schedules, as well as participating on a team to design, install and service building automation and security management systems.

This employee typically works under daily supervision of a Project Manager and reports into an Engineering or Software Manager.

Responsibilities Include
Understand how to read and review specifications, drawings, and sequence
Be able to read, write, modify simple programming and assist others in start up of control's equipment at a basic level with mentor support
Adhere to standards for software enginering including familiarity with National Engineering Standard
Assist the PM in reviewing contract documentation, sequences of operations, and commissioning documents throughout the project life cycle
Manage communications with customers, subcontractors, engineers, and project managers efficiently so that they are addressed in a timely manner while balancing work assignments
Basic understanding of operator workstation use, graphics and software development
Participate in basic field startup using standard start up and checkout processes
Assist in job close out by providing final record drawings and documentation
Proficiency in the usage of Studio 360, Prometheus, Project configuration Tool apps and any other applicable engineering tools

Remote Support:
Complete understanding of remote connectivity methods (Bomgar, etc.) including VPN software when applicable, including accessing and updating password vaults
Four year engineering/technical degree or equivalent work experience
Valid Driver's License
Local to Philadelphia Metro area
