Summary
It is the responsibility of the Warehouse Ops Coordinator under the direction of the Warehouse Manager to provide logistics support for key corporate events. Professionaly interacts with team members. This role ensures that all carpet inventory is accurately maintained, properly cleaned, staged, and delivered on time to support show schedules and client needs.
This position will support our Event & Exhibit Services team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Las Vegas, NV.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Review of testing and reconditioning trade show displays, booth properties and ancillary materials; the use of hand-tools is required, and excellent dexterity needed.
- Monitor and track delivery dates, ensure timely delivery of critical shipments going to events.
- Review required arrival dates, critical show management deadlines.
- Manage inbound shipments from shows, ensuring timely pickups, scheduling the carriers to pick up shipments within the required windows, understanding union and show management rules regarding these shipment departures from events.
- Review inbound shipments, reconcile manifest against contents, check for damage, restock items and ensure proper tracking of available inventory using a computer software system.
- Ensure 100% accuracy on all outbound and inbound freight and manifests, timely delivery, and client satisfaction.
- Manage inventory of all carpet, padding, and flooring materials.
- Track carpet usage, location, and condition before and after events.
- Coordinate carpet pulls, staging, loading, and returns for each show.
- Work closely with Operations, Logistics, and Install teams to meet event timelines.
- Inspect carpet for damage, wear, or contamination and report issues.
- Arrange for cleaning, repair, or disposal of carpet as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
- Label, tag, and organize carpet by color, size, and event.
- Ensure carpet is properly stored to prevent damage and contamination.
- Assist with special exhibitor requests, upgrades, or last-minute changes.
- Follow safety, cleanliness, and material handling procedures.
- Support warehouse setup and breakdown before and after conventions.
- Operate carpet cutting machines to cut carpet to precise booth dimensions and show specifications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1-2 years industry experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
