    job summary:


    A Project Engineering Manager is needed for the world's largest food and beverage company in the Fort Dodge, IA area.

    The Project Engineering Manager oversees the end-to-end management of small to major capital projects, ensuring adherence to project deliverables, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, managing budgets, schedules, construction, and commissioning, with a focus on process and packaging.

    responsibilities:

    • Manage small, minor, and major capital projects from end to end.
    • Maintain visibility to the design process and ensure adherence to project deliverables.
    • Directly manage overall project execution, including construction and commissioning.
    • Coordinate with clients and various internal and external groups.
    • Assist in developing pre-project approval documents, including project charter, management plan, kick start, estimate, and milestone schedule.
    • Monitor design progress and ensure adherence to established project components.
    • Coordinate bid package development and release for construction bidding and field execution.

    Skills:

    • Scheduling software knowledge (P6 or Project).
    • Cost reporting and trending through project management tools and Microsoft Excel.

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering required.
    • Master's Degree preferred.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience.
    • Must have experience in managing multi-million dollar manufacturing facility or production line projects.
    • Must have experience in construction management, scheduling, cost planning, stakeholder communication, capital project management, managing contractors, bidding, startups, and commissioning with a focus on process and packaging.
