• Public SectorAbout the OpportunityOur client, a mid sized accounting and advisory firm, is currently seeking an Audit Manager for our government (public sector) division.

In this client-facing role, you will be based in our Riverside, California office and work from home, our office and from our client locations.
ResponsibilitiesManage all phases of audit and/or review engagementClient-facing role - maintain contact with clients throughout the yearReview financial statements and other client deliverablesDirect, train, supervise and review the work of senior and staff accountantsRequired Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field5+ years of experience in public accounting and thorough knowledge of GAAP2+ years of public sector audit experience in the State of California (auditing local governments - cities, counties, districts, etc.)

Current and valid CPA licenseWhat We OfferCompetitive Compensation:
$135,000 - $165,000
