- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic achievement, and social-emotional functioning
- Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for appropriate interventions and accommodations to support students' learning and development
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school personnel to design and implement interventions and supports for students with diverse needs
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on the development and implementation of students' educational plans
- Serve as a resource to parents/guardians, providing guidance and support on issues related to their child's academic and emotional well-being
- Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives to promote positive school climate and student success
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid Texas certification as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP)
- Experience working in a school setting, conducting assessments and providing counseling services to students
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices for supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and community stakeholders
- Commitment to cultural competence and equity in education, with the ability to support the diverse needs of students and families
