    Construction Services Office Manager

    The Musco Construction Services Team is currently seeking a Construction Services Office Manager to work from our Oskaloosa office.

    We are looking for an initiative-taking individual from the construction industry with business and managerial experience.This opportunity includes leading and developing a team of Project Managers that oversee subcontractors throughout North America. This leadership role will also join a team responsible for developing systems and processes to aid our Project Managers, subcontractors, and customers. High interpersonal skills are a must as this individual will work with every level of the organization.

    What you will do as a Construction Services Office Manager:
    • Develop and supervise a team of Project Managers.
    • Assist in developing processes and procedures. Develop tools to evaluate construction costs, projections, and purchase orders.
    • Assist in creating a vision of team development based on future business projections.
    • Manage workload of Project Managers with regards to experience, qualifications and availability.
    • Develop tools to evaluate quality of installation/certifying contractors.
    • Communicate complex technical information as needed to
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Education & Experience Requirements:

    10+ years of experience in construction management or related field with 5+ years of direct supervisory responsibilities. Electrical License preferred.

    What you need to be successful:
    • Strong leadership abilities
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to understand, interpret and communicate licensing requirements for both electrical and general contracting licenses.
    • Ability to understand, interpret and communicate project specifications and drawings for construction and electrical design.
    • Provide daily direction to Project Managers for issues related to projects and construction.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize projects and tasks.
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Overnight travel as required
    • Team and goal oriented
    • Must be computer oriented; Word and Excel skills are necessary
