In April 2023, we moved into our brand-new building near the Cumberland Golf Course, the beautiful Beaver Dam Lake, and the home of the Rutabaga Festival We provide a wide range of medical services, including family medicine, emergency medicine, rehabilitation services, specialty care, laboratory, imaging/MRI, oncology/infusion, wound care, and inpatient care.

Our state-of-the-art facility recently added a retail pharmacy called Maple Ridge Pharmacy and a farm-to-table restaurant called the Harvest Grill, ensuring the highest quality of care for our community.

Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Doctor at Cumberland Healthcare.

As a Medical Doctor, you will provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions.

You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans, perform medical procedures, and provide guidance and support to patients and their families.

QualificationsMedical degree and valid license to practice medicineStrong knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team and interdisciplinary environmentStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAttention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasksExperience with electronic health records (EHR) systemsBoard certification or eligibility in a specialty is a plusPrevious experience in a critical access hospital or rural healthcare setting is a plus
