Position Overview
Roecam is seeking a driven, high-volume communicator to serve as the face of our Investor Relations Program. This role is built for seasoned professionals who thrive in outreach-intensive environments and understand how to build trust with high-net-worth individuals and institutional investors.
You will be the primary point of contact for prospective investors — from first outreach through qualification and initial investment. You will guide them through our investor portal, ensure full regulatory compliance at each step, and build the kind of lasting relationships that produce long-term results.
This is NOT a lead generation role. Roecam provides a consistent pipeline of warm, pre-qualified leads with above-average interaction and engagement rates. Your job is to convert those conversations into relationships, and those relationships into committed investors.
Key Responsibilities
Outreach & Lead Engagement
- Execute a minimum of 150 outbound calls per week to warm, pre-qualified leads provided by Roecam.
- Conduct professional email outreach campaigns in coordination with the marketing support specialist.
- Engage prospective investors via social media platforms (LinkedIn, etc.) to build visibility and credibility.
- Receive and promptly follow up on leads sourced from in-house personnel.
- Maintain a professional, polished, and brand-consistent presence across all communication channels.
- All outbound call activity is tracked and logged through Roecam's phone system — accurate logging is required.
Investor Onboarding & Portal Management
- Convert prospect conversations into portal sign-ups by clearly communicating the value proposition of the Roecam Investor Relations Program.
- Guide prospective investors through the portal registration process, ensuring a seamless and professional experience.
- Track and manage all lead activity, communications, and pipeline status within the CRM system.
Qualification & Compliance
- Administer the sophistication questionnaire to assess investor eligibility and suitability.
- Confirm and document that the required "substantial relationship" has been established prior to sharing any official investment offerings, in accordance with applicable securities regulations.
- Ensure all qualification steps and compliance checkpoints are completed in the correct sequence and fully documented.
- Collaborate with the Investor Relations Coordinator to maintain organized, audit-ready records of all investor interactions and documentation.
- Communicate any concerns or red flags to senior management promptly.
Investment Education & Support
- Develop a working knowledge of Roecam's current and upcoming investment opportunities in order to speak to them confidently.
- Help qualified investors understand the specifics of particular deals, asset classes, and investment structures as needed — without providing personalized financial advice.
- Field investor questions and route complex inquiries to the appropriate internal team members.
- Nurture relationships with portal members who have not yet invested, keeping them engaged and informed over time.
Program Representation & Branding
- Serve as the primary face of the Roecam Investor Relations Program — embodying professionalism, trustworthiness, and deep product knowledge.
- Represent the program at industry events, webinars, and investor meetings as appropriate.
- Provide regular feedback to management on prospect objections, market sentiment, and areas for improvement.
Investor Conversion Process
This role follows a structured, compliance-driven progression:
- Step 1 — Outreach: Outbound calling and email campaigns to provided warm leads.
- Step 2 — Portal Enrollment: Invite and onboard prospects to the Roecam Investor Portal.
- Step 3 — Qualification: Administer sophistication questionnaire; confirm and document substantial relationship timeline.
- Step 4 — Offering: Present investment opportunities exclusively to fully vetted, qualified investors.
- Step 5 — Investment & Relationship: Support the investor through the commitment process and maintain the ongoing relationship.
Compensation Structure
This is a 1099 independent contractor role with a three-tier, activity- and performance-based compensation structure. Earnings are directly tied to effort and results — high performers have significant upside.
1 Activity Pay
Monthly Stipend earned for meeting the 150 outbound calls/week threshold, as verified through the phone system. Provides consistent base earnings for sustained activity.
2* Portal Sign-Up Bonus*
Earned for each qualified prospect successfully enrolled in the Roecam Investor Portal.
3* Investment Commission*
Earned when a portal member converts and commits capital through the program.
Note: As a 1099 contractor, you are responsible for your own taxes, self-employment contributions, and applicable business expenses. Roecam does not withhold taxes on contractor payments.
30-Day Onboarding & Alignment Period
All contractors begin with a structured 30-day onboarding period designed to ensure both parties are fully aligned before scaling activity. This period covers:
- Deep familiarization with Roecam's investment philosophy, current portfolio, and target investor profile.
- Training on the investor qualification and compliance process, including the sophistication questionnaire and substantial relationship protocols.
- Hands-on orientation with the investor portal, CRM, and phone system.
- Review and execution of the Independent Contractor Agreement, including the non-solicitation provision.
- Supervised outreach with feedback and coaching before full independent operation begins.
Compensation during the onboarding period will follow the same three-tier structure. The 30-day period is designed to set you up for long-term success — not to limit your earnings.
Qualifications & Ideal Candidate Profile
Required Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of high-volume outbound calling experience in commercial real estate, financial services, or a directly related field.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and convert a large volume of calls and prospect relationships simultaneously.
- Familiarity with investor qualification concepts (accredited/sophisticated investor standards) or ability to learn quickly during onboarding.
- Comfortable with CRM systems and activity-based accountability metrics.
Preferred Backgrounds
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following:
- Commercial Real Estate (CRE) brokerage or investment sales
- Wealth management or private banking
- Insurance brokerage (particularly life, annuities, or high-net-worth products)
- Retirement planning or financial planning
- Stock brokerage or investment advisory
- Alternative investment sales or fund placement
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional verbal communication and active listening — this role is won or lost on the phone.
- Professional written communication for email outreach.
- Ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear, accessible manner.
- High degree of self-motivation, accountability, and resilience in a performance-driven environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects at various stages of the pipeline.
- Basic social media literacy, particularly LinkedIn.
