PCA Med Surg Ortho Trauma Full Time Nights Position Summary
Provides individualized, culture-specific patient care by attending to the personal needs and comfort of patients, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Special Skill:
Excellent customer service skills; basic computer skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact positively and effectively with patients, visitors and health care team members. Knowledge of patient rights, aseptic/sterile technique and infection control best practices.
THE PCA MED SURG ORTHO TRAUMA FULL TIME NIGHTS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
High School Diploma/GED or a valid CNA or PCA/PCT Certificate
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
N/
A
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
One year of experience as a nursing assistant in an acute care setting.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/
LICENSURE:
CPR.
REQUIRED COURSE(S)
TRAINING:
EKG training in selected units.

REGISTRATION:
CNA/LNA from the Arizona State Board of Nursing
