- Assist healthcare providers with medical procedures and examinations
- Take patient vital signs and update medical records as necessary
- Prepare patients for tests and assist with laboratory procedures
- Administer medications and vaccines under the supervision of healthcare professionals
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect samples for analysis
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and provide them with necessary information
- Schedule appointments and manage the reception area when needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
