    Description

    Job Overview:
    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team.

    As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for processing and overseeing the financial operations of our organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and implementing financial strategies to drive business growth.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and corporate finance.


    Duties:

    • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
    • Prepare and analyze financial statements by GAAP and IFRS standards
    • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decisionmaking and identify areas for cost management
    • Collaborate and monitor performance with Accounts Payable; Accounts Receivable; and all departments
    • Provide leadership and guidance
    • Oversee the preparation of:1) monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders2) ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and reporting requirements3) daily reconciliation of: Accounts Payable; Accounts Receivable; Inventory & Cash and Line of Credit4) sales tax return preparation and reporting for all states registered5) monthly credit card(s) reconciliation and journalizing; monthly bank statement reconciliation6) daily journal entries7) line of credit covenants adheres to; monthly BBC reporting; monthly interim financial submissions
    • Annual review of LOC along with any audits8) semimonthly payroll processing and journal entry recording to include 401k contribution processing and recording9) review new customer credit applications and determine risk and term extensions and limits.10) employee benefits review and maintain comparable healthcare coverage; employee manual retention/revisions; employee company benefits.11) corporate insurance policies12) liaison for the company with the accounting firmExperience:
    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
    • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role
    • Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements and GAAP/IFRS standards
    • Solid understanding of corporate finance principles and practices
    • Proficient in accrual accounting and cost management techniques
    • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
    • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsThis position is a 'working' position, it entails all aspects of account understanding and the ability to process work, not just oversee.
