    General Summary:

    The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible for planning, analyzing financial forecasting and results as well as leading the communication effort with HCA stakeholders (HCS, HMC, HMA, KUS). The Manager is expected to enhance the partnership with all HCA stakeholders in order to achieve the companys long-term objectives. This position manages several processes and is responsible for coordinating and overseeing analysis performed by other cross-functional teams. The Manager supports Corporate Planning leadership in analyzing financial performance, preparing the annual business plan, monthly business forecasts and ad-hoc projects requested by HCA executives and stakeholders.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Generation of on-going recurring reporting for HCA executives (CEO, CFO, VPs) and external stakeholders (HCS, HMC, HMA, KUS). Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide findings to stakeholders.

    2. Prepare detailed monthly P&L variance analyses. Understand all aspects of the monthly financial statements, manage profit performance, and justify forecast assumptions. Investigate and create an executive summary for various HCA business issues requested by HCA executives and stakeholders.

    3. Support annual business plan process. Coordinate gathering and developing in-depth summary of all operations metrics as well as company-wide strategic initiatives. Lead alignment effort between HCA, OEMs (HGMA, KUS), HCS, and HMC regarding HCAs annual business plan by communicating, updating, and submitting plans to each stakeholder.

    4. Lead ad-hoc planning, analysis, and reporting activities for internal executives and external stakeholders, including FSS/BOD requests, EFC funding reviews, strategic initiatives, monthly executive meetings, and legal reviews, by coordinating with key stakeholders in HCA.

    5. Support communication and coordination efforts between HCA all departments and external HCA stakeholders for various questions, including those in Korean. Clarify inquiries by contacting stakeholders, including receiving and making a phone call in Korean.

    6. Manage and monitor monthly OEM transactions for HMA and KUS, which includes accurate and timely generation of invoices to OEMs, and monitoring of payment activities OEM billing communications, alignment, and resolution of issues.

    7. Perform all other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    Must be bilingual in both English / Korean.

    Proven ability to articulate and work on abstract problems across functional areas of a growing and changing business.

    Ability to multi-task in a fast-moving environment.

    Ability to collaborate across functions, divisions, and business groups.

    Knowledge of financial reporting and planning systems and processes.

    General accounting knowledge and understanding of business, accounting, and financial planning processes, as well as an understanding of data in financial services organizations and associated technologies.

    Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills balanced with strong execution skills

    Intermediate to advanced querying skills using SQL and PL/SQL programming skills

    Ability to extract, analyze and draw insight from data in enterprise databases.

    Excellent presentation, verbal/written communication, and organizational skills.

    Must be able to establish a high level of credibility with all levels of internal operations and external parties.
