    Lighthouse Institute, a division of Chestnut Health Systems, is seeking a full-time Linkage Supervisor for our Chicago, IL facility.

    Responsibilities

    Maintain specified performance levels. Proctor self-administered measures.
    Collect bodily fluids as needed to gather follow-up data.
    Implement motivational interviewing within linkage interventions and other study interventions, in projects as assigned.

    Participate in quality assurance and monitoring procedures for ensuring intervention and data quality and integrity: Must meet and maintain quality assurance (QA) standards.

    Provide feedback to study investigators and MI specialists on QA procedures and identify problems to address
    Communicate QA updates to project team

    Learn applicable software and enter study data into the appropriate software.

    Track clients, including collaterals, and other individuals in an effort to maintain on-going contact as outlined in projects: Implement duties outlined in data collection protocol within specified time frame.

    Supervise Linkage Managers (I and II) Assist with hiring selection/process
    Complete annual reviews
    Facilitate linkage case review meetings
    Identifies and requests training for staff
    Provide additional MI support
    Assign Linkage Manager caseload

    Liaison with external treatment providers Assist with participant referrals
    Monitor treatment attendance as specified in study protocols
    Update treatment data received from external providers into linkage databases
    Network and develop new contacts with external providers

    Monitor and enforce model-fidelity within and across studies. Reconcile recordings of linkage meetings
    Report ABS discrepancies/ errors
    Identify and request database changes
    Attend study meetings (i.e., Principal Investigator, MI Instructor, LI Director)

    Facilitate the design, development, and implementation of projects, and provide documentation of project meetings.
    Provide study information to potential referral sources and research participants.

    Travel off site to conduct home visits, meet with clients, collaborate with outside agency contacts as outlined in projects and network to expand available agency contacts.

    Train site personnel in the use of all relevant interventions. Develop training guidelines and manuals for end users regarding project implementation and/or evaluation measures (e.g., written or videotaped instructions).
    Comply with requirements of funding sources (e.g., submitting program plans, providing quarterly reports, final reports, etc.).
    Facilitate the design, development, and implementation of projects, and provide documentation of project meetings.
    Serve as a consultant to LI staff working on other projects.
    Promote Chestnut's culture of customer service excellence through the adherence to the seven behavioral standards for customer service.

    Maintain and protect confidentiality of all organizational information gained in the course of performing job responsibilities including, but not limited to salary, financial, and client information.

    Other duties consistent with qualifications and training.

    Qualifications

    Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Social Science or Public Health with demonstrated orientation to project management, a minimum of two years supervisory experience.

    Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
    Must have extensive training and experience with Motivational Interviewing (MI).
    Experience working on clinical trials is preferred.
    Excellent time management, communication skills, and basic computer skills using Microsoft Office required (i.e., Outlook, Word, and Excel).
    Must obtain GAIN/ABS certification within six months of hire date.

    Must be deemed appropriate for MI implementation in clinical trial research by MI trainer and Principal Investigator within six months.

    Must have a valid driver's license, private automobile insurance and be insurable.

    WORK HOURS:
    Position requires the ability to be on-call 24-hrs/7days a week for project-related tasks.
    This may include linkage related tasks in the office or off-site locations at night and on weekends.
