    Join our dedicated team at MSHN Enterprises, a compassionate and supportive environment that has been providing exceptional care since 2001. We specialize in therapeutic psycho-social rehabilitation for individuals facing severe and persistent mental illnesses, offering assistance with community outings, individual therapy, and medication management. Our full-service supportive living program also caters to those with complex behavioral and medical needs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Resident Safety: Always ensure the safety of residents through constant supervision, de-escalation techniques, and prompt reporting of hazards. Familiarize yourself with evacuation procedures in emergencies.
    • Professionalism: Stay open to feedback, recognize personal development areas, and maintain knowledge of psychiatric disorders. Avoid negativity and promote a helpful environment.
    • Time and Attendance: Arrive on time for your shifts, communicate absences promptly, and dress professionally. Submit time-off requests two weeks in advance.
    • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with colleagues-all team members contribute to our mission of preparing clients for independent living. Address conflicts directly and follow protocols if resolutions are needed.
    • Medication Assistance: Adhere to medication policies ensuring correct administration, documentation, and communication of any discrepancies.
    • Resident Interaction: Conduct engaging rehabilitation activities with respect for residents' dignity and privacy. Assist residents in acquiring skills for independent living.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records in a timely manner, communicating vital information during shift changes.
    • Environmental Cleanliness: Start shifts with a thorough walk-through and assist residents in maintaining a clean living space.
    • Food Preparation: Prepare meals according to menu plans, label leftovers properly, and ensure food safety.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Age: Must be 18 years or older
    • Valid driver's license or state ID
    • Successful completion of a drug screen
    • Clean background within company standards (no assault, drug charges, etc.)
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • CPR & First Aid certification or completion of MSHN training within the first 30 days
    • TB Skin Test completion (or undergo testing through MSHN within the first 30 days)
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
